A list of entries must be in the office of the General-Manager by 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 19th, 2011, in order that entries may be processed. Exhibits are to be placed Wednesday, September 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or before 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 22nd in the Exhibit Hall. Judging will take place on Thursday, September 22nd commencing at 10:00 a.m. This is closed to the public. Exhibits are lifted between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25th. Exhibits left after 6:00 p.m. Sunday may be claimed in the Exhibit Hall on Monday, September 26th before 8:30 a.m. The Carp Agricultural Society will not assume any responsibility for exhibits left on any Society premises after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The honey is to be a 2010 product and is to be displayed in two (2) 500 grams jars per section.

Passes – Field Crops, Maple Syrup, Honey, Wine, Beer, Grains, Seeds, Vegetables, Fruits, Flowers, Domestic Science, and Sewing & Crafts – Less than 10 articles exhibited, a pass for Sunday only. Ten articles or more, a Weekend Pass if over twelve years of age.

* The entry fee is 10% of the prize money retained.

7. The best display of honey products, not to exceed 3′ x 3′. Consideration will be given to the variety of products and the attractiveness of the display. Commercially manufactured products cannot be included.

HOMECRAFT DIVISION AND JUNIOR DEPARTMENT

Exhibits left after 6:00 p.m. Sunday may be claimed in the Exhibit Hall on Monday, September 26th before 8:30 a.m. The Carp Agricultural Society will not assume any responsibility for exhibits left on any Society premises after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The Public Health Act (sec.32) states “Hazardous food … shall be maintained, transported and offered for sale at a temperature not lower than 5 degrees Celsius or not higher than 60 degrees Celsius.” Because of these regulations there will be no bake sale at the time of lifting of exhibits.
