      Hi Nancy

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. There are many changes with our new website. Bill Anderson is not performing at the Fair this year. He was here in 2009 – but new for 2010 – Tommy Cash will be performing a tribute to his brother “Johnny Cash” on Saturday afternoon in the W. Erskine Johnston Arena in the afternoon. Hope you come to the Fair and enjoy!

    Hello,

We are residents of the Rockwood Hills community just behind the Carp fairgrounds. Although we can appreciate that the fairgrounds provide some very useful events we have noticed that the loudspeaker system is louder than it needs to be and that the announcers sometimes go, what seems to be non stop for hours on end. Is there anyway of toning it down such that people attending whatever events that do on there can hear without broadcasting within a 2km radius?

Some consideration for those not attending these events I’m sure, would very much be appreciated.

Thank you for considering this matter

    Mike,

Get a life dude. This is how it’s done in the country. Country and rock bands are loud and should be. thats what makes it fun.

You’ll have to move out of town if you want complete silence.

    Bob out!

I’d like to visit the fair from Ottawa, but nowhere on your website are the times that the fair will be open. Help!

Hello. The web site does not provide a lot of detail about any of the specific events. Is there a link elsewhere that details the planned events?

    Thank you.

If you click on the right hand side of the website – there is a brochure and a poster. You can click on it and it will open. The different times for the events are listed and on which day

    • joyce says:

Try the right hand side of the website – under brochure and pamphlet. All the details should be there for the three days

I think your site is very poorly designed. I guess it serves the needs of the people who want to register at the fair, but it certainly doesn’t help those of us who want to come out and see it. I can’t see the brochure and poster you refer to anywhere on the site, and the fact that such basic information as the opening hours and the schedule of events for each day is not posted prominently and simply on the opening pages of the site makes it very frustrating to use it.

  • I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one these days.. :)

  • Heather says:

Never mind – found the brochure. No need to post that comment, but would suggest that if you have a tab called “fair information” you post the schedule, hours and prices all in one place, not have the brochure on the home page.
